Dodge ECM replacement
Lately I been having a lot of trouble with code P0251 setting. The dealership here has gone through and looked at everything. They finally come back and told me it could be two things, CP3 pump or ECM.
Now, I more likely believe it is the ECM but they keep stating that there is a case history (it is from 2004) that the pumps were replaced and this corrected the problem. From what I was thinking the FCA comes with the pump so did they just do a pump replacement unneccesarily? If you look at the Dodge trouble shooting guide for FCA they finally say replace ECM. I guess I am asking opinions here on how to proceed and what you guys think? Cause it is going to cost me some coin to get this fixed. THanks, Dwight |
