DC now using Spicer U-Joints

Since I had a U-joint failure last week, DC used a Spicer replacement joint. Were the spicers original equipment on our trucks, or is this a new thing. I cant read the caps of the rest of the joints since they are all rusted, but the new one says spicer.

I am wondering if this has anything to do with the 70mph vibration issues.

It could. With just over 500 miles since the new U-Joint, my truck is starting to vibrate badly. I need to get it back in ASAP. I hope they can iron this out. I'm going to ask for all new joints on the rear shaft. We'll see what happens.

Probably another joint went or is going bad. Good luck John. Let us know how you make out and what the cause was.
