cutting out
 

Truck cutting out is getting worse. have checked all wiring several times over. No codes, fuel pressure good, otherwise runs great. Feels almost like backfiring at highway speeds, more prevalent under throttle, but sometimes hard to reproduce. So bad on my way to the airport this afternoon that I fear I may be tearing up the drive train. Just boarded plane but have decided to take it to somebody else when I return Friday.

Does anybody have shop recommendations for the DFW area? I'm ready to either throw down some money or scrap this thing. Very frustrating at 48k miles and having been babied and maintained meticulously.

Have you inspected the wiring that runs under the AC compressor?

Yes sir, no substantial wear, but wrapped it with loom for good measure.

Nobody has any shop recommendations for DFW? Surely there are one our two reputable guys in/around Dallas...
