Cracked seals

Looks like I have cracked seals on my front and rear diff where the driveshafts connect to the diff. I am getting told it takes 2 hours per seal to fix. Does that sound right to you? thanks

You mean just the rubber boot visible on the outside?

If so, I wouldn't worry about it unless the inner seal is bad and it is leaking oil.

I can see that fluid has been leaking out slowly but when it sits parked, there is not a puddle or anything

I would guess 2 hours would be pretty close, then.
