Do a search with the words in your title, you should get at least 5 threads in the last week or so - and many more farther back.

You also should add in your sig block what you've got - gears and color of truck in case someone should see a match.

Did a search and did not get alot of info. There was a thead with a couple of guys talking about exchanging some parts. I imagine its possible.I have a post going on the No Divetrain forum about tow capacities right now and it seems the the duallies arent rated any higher than the srws.Although I'm sure they are a little more safe and stable pulling a really heavy load. Thinking about buying a 14' gooseneck dump trailer and I think it is rated at 14000 or 16000lbs.Any thoughts.

I'm thinking of doing the same. One thing that will make it harder on many SRW trying to do this is bed length. Dually's have 8 ft bed.

Why not get a Megacab duelly bed? Better yet just buy the "hips" and stick them suckers on there. Just a thought...

my 2 cents worth, I put on 245x19.5 wheels and tires to avoid the duallys, the 19.5 will carry 4,500 lbs. per tire with 14 ply side walls they do just fine with just about any fith wheel or goose neck you want to pull. But the best thing is the wife won't run over curbs.

You wouldnt even need the axle if you wanted to do a little work and change the outers and brakes and axle shafts out. Probably be easier tho.
