Confused
Truck showed P2149 code a few days ago, began rough idle & aquired shimmy coming from rear end but, didn't lose any power or fuel mileage on highway.
Checked all injectors & zeroed out.
Cleared codes, hit highway for 70 miles & no codes.
However, still have shimmy from rear end.
Tires were rotated & balanced before any problems have occurred, so didn't figure that is the vibration problem...
Any suggestions???
Thanks, in advance....
In case it doesn't show:

Jack the rear end up, set it on good jack stands, block front wheels good. Crank it up put in gear slowly speed the engine up, notice which wheel is bouncing, be cautious, if vibration is severe. apply brake, now you know where vibration is coming from.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Possibly a bad U joint?
For wheel balance try Centramatics. Never had my truck run smoother since I installed them.
