OK, If I wanted to do the serpentine belt ??

So, now it's time to think ahead to replace the serpentine belt on my
'06 5.9er with Auto trans. Bone stock. What else should I be thinking of while doing this job. For example, tensioner / tensioner pully. No drips from the water pump so hopefully no need to dig into that. Oh yeah, 110k on the ODO

Appreciate any advice ya'll have to offer. ThanX in advance.

Wouldn't hurt to flush the brake fluid, if you haven't already. Coolant I think is every 4 years.

Red coolant is 100k miles or 5 years, serp belt replace and water pump also if never changed before because it is on barrowed time at 110k miles.

The Gearwrench serpentine tool kit worked great for changing the belt along with a coat hanger hook. No way you want to have to change that belt on the side of the road
I got the heavy duty Gates one from Genos and my water pump from Cummins.

My belt was the same for mileage so I decided to change it and guess what I could see through it it was pretty wore out but It had a long life. but before you reinstall it take a wire brush and clean all the pulleys and spray with brake clean!
