When towing a 33 ft travel trailer, the clutch slips once-in-a while. Is this a cause for concern? Have the power pup set on performance mode.

I'm not the least bit concerned. You, on the other hand, may well have reason to be so.

Isn't it pretty obvious that you've exceeded the capacity of your present clutch? You've either already ruined it, or you're now well on the way.

If I were you, I'd be looking at clutch/pressure plate upgrades. You'll be needing one soon.

Now back to your problem. Yes, you will need to upgrade your clutch. I just went to a sbc dd clutch. love it. you might not need that much of a clutch but south bend has many different hp ratings on their clutches. ya need to start lookin for a new clutch.

How many miles have you been running on the pup?

I'd think it would still last for awhile.

You're not feathering the throttle on launch are you? Seriously decreases clutch life. Clutch system is designed for zero throttle launch.
