Clutch is acting up
I have a southbend street dual disk and lately the clutch feels different. When I put it in the pedal and drivability wasn't much different than stock. It now has probably around 25,000 miles. The first thing I noticed is that you have to let out of the clutch a lot farther before it begins to disengage. Also, it has gotten very difficult to take off somewhat smooth. It feels like I have to ride the clutch quite a long ways to take off smoothly. It holds up fine and hasn't slipped. I have hauled a few heavy loads of hay and it does fine, but it mostly just sees a light mowing trailer. Any ideas?

You mean you have to let the pedal, out further to engage the clutch?
If so that's not bad, it's disengaging early in the throw. You could adjust the hydraulics down if you have the adjustable master cyl. It will lower the pedal some.
If you've driven the truck pretty easy, it may just be getting good and broke in and gripping better. My OFE seemed pretty smooth for quite a few miles, like close to a year, so 10-20k then it got more grabby.
I think you're ok unless there's other symptoms.

Yes sorry I meant engage I said it backwards. I just didn't know if it was normal for any of it to change like that. I've always been easy on the truck besides hauling a few heavy loads. I very rarely get on it at all and it never sees any kind of burnouts or anything crazy like that.
