Ok guys everybody head down to the dealer and buy a new truck. Between all the Dodge and Cummins sites we should be able to help them last another month or two.

Man I hope they get it worked out. Bring back Lee Iococa.

The only reason I bought the Dodge was because of the Cummins, I looked at all three and liked the Dodge the best. I did own two Dodge gassers before my Diesel, however when it came to buyin the diesel CUMMINS was the only choice. If GM takes the Cummins then I would have to think about it and or Ferd.... I liked my Dodge due to the fact it still drives more or less like a truck, not a Crown Vic or Caddy.

A merger between GM and Chrysler would be about as productive as two black holes merging in outer space.

That sounds about right. Quoted for posterity.

I have always been a Ford guy, The Cummins just came wrapped in a Dodge. Not a bad truck but Have had problems like blend door and directional switch ( tilt the wheel down and signal right and the left flashes) things that should not be going wrong. They have been making blend doors and signal switches for a long time they are not new things, It should be right the first time. I have to say that who ever offers the Cummins 6 Cyl will have my money when it comes time for the next truck.

Hmm that would suck but I wont be upset.

Besides, still have a Sterling Bullet, that might be bought from Ford, but its all Cummins

Ive been looking at a full size anyway. And Chevy is the only one that makes a big enough one for my needs. Either an Escalade ESV or the Suburban.

I dont think anything will happen anyway....

Too bad the government didn't do a "bailout" for Dodge rather than the stupid lending market.....Just my thoughts.
