cheaper way to get big fuel lines and filter head?

Is there a cheaper way to get new lines, fittings, and a filter head than the glacier kit? Would like a filter head that works with the Cat 2mic filters and going to plumb it in downstream of the stock canister. Plan on welding my own mounting bracket for filter head. maybe viton line? and a fitting for new lines to re connect my low pressure fuel guage at cp3?

Then i will have a 10mic racor aqua block -> factory canister w/ baldwin 5mic -> Cat 2mic -> CP3-> freshly rebuild injectors from F1 that i want to last[guitar]

Thanks, RB

Depends what your Time is worth...
Price all the separate parts, then shop for the best price...

Sans the bracket I got from GDP (no welding tools nor welding skills) I put mine together for ~100. That includes tax on what I got from the Cummins dealer and shipping from across the country. It can be done cheaper if you have a store locally that you can get pushlock fittings from. Good luck.

EDIT: and btw, does anyone know the part number or have a clever way to make that one bolt that mounts on the back of the intake horn that holds the wires to it? I dropped mine somewhere in my engine bay and I've never found it. It's threaded on both ends with one being smaller diameter than the other......... /hijack

i have more time than $$ so i'm into it. think a local hydraulic shop would have push lock fittings? anyone got a part number for a filter head that works with the cat 2mic filter?

Baldwin PN FB1311 was the one I used and it fit the 2micron just fine. The Cummins dealer cross referenced a Fleetguard number and it looked exactly the same (don't have the FG number on hand, sorry)

EDIT: didn't realize if you asked if a hydraulic shop would have the PL fittings. When I called Rich @ GDP asking about my Raptor pump he recommended a local hydraulic shop for a 90* pushlock, so I would think you could at least try that. Worst case, the place where I bought my fittings from is located right in WA...

I put mine together for just over $100. Used the baldwin base for the filter and water seperator. You can get different fittings to work with this base, so shop around to get what you prefer to use.

If you do not intend to increase the power output of the engine, 3/8 id line will provide all the fuel you will need.
