can you convert floor shift transfer case to push button
 
I have a 06 slt 2500 with the standard floor shift for the 4 wheel drive.can you convert it to push button like the sport model?

Could but would need the headlight to dash harness. also the harness from main (headlight to dash) to t-case). possibly interior dash harness, switch and then i think the tcase is different. not 100% on the tcase. might be able to adapt the electric motor to current case.

I believe you could if you got a new transfer case and the electric shifter for the dash. The wiring as I recall is pretty basic.

the harnesses are very different. I spent hours researching installing a manual trans in my 07 megacab. I have all the harnesses, column, trans etc to do a swap. the headlight to dash harness itself was $600, harness to trans/tcase was another $80. I had to get a VIN from a truck that had a manual with electric shift t-case. only way to varify that the interior dash harness has the connector is to remove center dash trim and see if its there. if its there, then he would need headlight to dash harness (this is the main harness that runs the back side if the firewall and plugs into TIPM) and the harness to the trans and t-case.

if he had a manual, i could provide the 2 harnesses but they are different than an automatic.
