Break-in...
Here I go...I sat in the dealer parking lot idleing my new truck waiting for the sales guy to take me out for the test drive.
I forgot Cummins reccomends not idleing the engine more than 5 minutes during break in.
I don't think 10 minutes would have screwed anything up.

I know the feeling. When I found my '98 CC 5psd/4.10 black/driftwood Laramie, I made them an offer and went home. I waited two weeks for them to call. If I'd have known they were going to call at 5:00pm on a Wednesday, I wouldn't have been up at 3:00am Sunday sitting by the phone. But I played hardball with them just like they were doing to me. They accepted my offer and I traded my '95 auto/3.55 reg cab Cummins for the '98. Then I traded the '98 with 89k miles for an '01.5 auto/3.55 QC LB Laramie. Then in '03 they made them quiet... I had to wait a week to get my '03. It went straight to the shop for a recall on the tranny cooler line. I was on pins and needles all week. I know the feeling!
