Bottom end power issue
Bottom end power issue
I have a 06 3500 cc, has 40,000kms, new bd race tranny, bully dog programmer, stock air box, wore oult 35" tires. I just changed the fuel, oil and air filter so they are all good. My problem is, I've seem to lost all of my bottom end power. It takes for ever for the turbo to spool up and doesn't pull untill about 40kmh. When I hold the breaks I can get 26psi of boost but when I dump the breaks it falls flat on its face. I can't even get this truck sideways pulling out with the chip on 120hp. Any ideas before I book it into dodge? Oh and its not throwing any codes.
if the converter is slipping, you wont be able to load the truck, which means you wont generate the exhaust gases needed to spool the turbo. i assume they changed the converter when installing the new bd race tranny? give bd a call.
yup it new tc, tranny, flex plate. It doesn't start to pull untill about 40kmh. Could it be a turbo issue? OR fuel problem? The **** dealership here has a 1 week waiting list.
