Between BFG AT/ProcompXAT, help me out

So i've searched the forum about tires many times. I know people say not to go huge on a stock truck for many reasons. I've decided that a 295/305 type tire on the stock rim will prob be big enough for me but not over the top. I would like to fill in the wheel well a bit. I had pretty much settled on the bfg in a 305/65/17 but then saw the procomp extreme at's in person and really like the look. Read some good reviews about them and just wanted a few more opinions. Also wondering where the best place to buy them would be? I've always like using discount tire for all my tire needs but i dont think they carry them. Live in tx so not much snow here, dont tow heavy and the truck is mainly on road but i like the aggressive look. Just dont want to hummmmm down the road. I've bought a kore leveling kit that will go on here soon. Any input is appreciated.

I have extreme at's I like them but They are directional tread so you have to dismount tires to rotate but I have 35000 on them and I tow my camper all summer and they are load range E 305 65 17

I would go with the bfg between those two, I don't care for directional treads at all. I put 37" coopers on my truck and love them. They are a MT but they are very quite so far.

The ProComps are great and they are made by Cooper, so I have been told. The directional tread works better and you do not dismount the tires to rotate, you just rotate front to back on the same sides. The wear is fine and even if you rotate often. I will buy them again this summer for my third set. I love the look of them too.

I like to cross non drive tires when I rotate which is why I don't like directional tires. You can keep them from feathering easier that way.

I have a great place but the cost of driving to California will most likely eat up the savings.

I have the pro comps, good tires so far, they are wearing good, ride good with little noise and do good off road.

Haha, nice. I called discount tire up and they quoted me 270 a tire (for the procomp XAT). The guy i talked to said they were quite loud on the road though. Anyone have a comparison between it and a BFG AT?

Well i just gave in and got the BFGs. Got 285/70/17es... they look pretty good and so far i cant tell the difference between them and the stockers. Bought them from discount for 1280...... seems to be a good enough deal but ****, thats a lotta coins.
