BckUp Light Switch on Manual Trans

For 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel with 5-spd manual transmission, where is the back-up light swith located on the transmission and how do you go about replacing it? Have checked bulbs and fuse and they are all good so I assume switch needs replacement. Would appreciate any tips.

Welcome to the DTR

It's located on the drivers side on top of transmission. Disconnect the wiring harness going to it and it unscrews. I've replaced two in just over 100k miles.
