Battery acid on turbo

Awhile back I had my battery explode from it overcharging for some reason. Anyway, it made a big mess, and got brown ugly spots all over my turbo, the side of my engine, and my exhaust manifold. I'm thinking of going with the mpi stocker/s400 setup pretty soon, but I was wondering if yall know of anyway to clean my turbo up so it doesn't look so bad. I know the kit comes with a new manifold so I'm not worried about that, but the turbo looks terrible, and I like it to look pretty under my hood. Got any ideas?
Thanks, mcolectd

while you have the turbo off try a wire wheel if that does not work you are going to have to sand blast it, seal all ports very well with a little trial and error you can actually make it look better than stock

Baking soda and vinegar will neutralize the battery acid. Then everything will wipe clean with soap and water.

Its already neutralized, I did that right after it happened, but I don't think its going to wipe clean. It left some pretty nasty marks all over the turbo, exhaust manifold, and side of my engine block. My entire turbo and everything else is like rust brown now, and looks terrible. Plus it got a couple spots on my fender where it ate the paint, but you can't really see those.
