Backspacing

I found some wheels that I like and they are 4.7" (4 11/16") BS. I think this w/ 35x12.50x17 will rub the rear of the fender. Anyone running similar backspacing and having success w/ it?

I think you're right...they're going to rub pretty badly.

Why is it that every wheel I like doesn't have the dimensions I need?! [laugh]

Here's a handy way of getting an idea on different wheel and tire combos.

http://www.1000rims.com/rt_specs.jsp

For the left one, put in stock specs... I think 17 x 8 wheel with +42 mm offset, and 265/75 tire. On the right hand side, enter in info on the wheel/tire combo you're wanting to run.

At the bottom, it tells you exaclty how much the new combo with stick out, and offers suggestions.

I like these

The specs say 17x8 with +25mm offset, which means those will work great.

Where did you see the specs?! I couldn't find anything (could be due to my lack of PC skills).

You'll need at least 5.5" of backspacing and a positive offset. Mine is positive 14mm offset and 5 5/8" backspacing--- no rubbing with a level kit.
