Mopar1973man,

Why should I use 2-cycle oil if I have problems from it every time I use it? BTW, I don’t use Lucas in every tank, but is sure does clean up my injectors after burning 2-cycle oil. Like I’ve said before if it works in your truck good for you, but 2 cycle oil does not work well for everyone for some strange reason.

Maybe you should read up on the chemicals in diesel fuel...
http://www.cpchem.com/enu/msds_unsec...NGLISH_A_N.pdf

There is a lot of solvents in diesel fuel...

PM coming at you...

After seeing what Chevron mixes in their diesel I've requested a MSDS from: http://www.premiumdiesel.com/product/arctic.aspx This is the company that makes the fuel I use in the wintertime. It cost a bit more but I get better mileage from it then the normal 70% #2 and 30% #1 diesel mix most use around N. IA in the wintertime.

Being I've not found a good additive to use that my truck likes I try to burn a tank once a month of Performance Gold diesel from Flint Hills, that is when its not 24 cents a gallon higher then what Murphy oil sells.
