looking for good trans fluid that is Dexron 3? Anyone?

I've used Chevron ATF in all my GM automatics going back to about '95.

All my gas engines have Chevron supreme motor oil in them also.

Chevron makes good stuff. Never an issue with any of their products.

reason i was asking because ATS Diesel recommends dextron 3. thanks, anyone else have any suggestions what they use in there ATS, or other built trans?

Newest dexron fluid is dex 6. It is used for newer trannys that have internal TCMs. Gm recomends dex 6 usage in place of dex 3 for warranty repairs. We use Chevron dexron fluid here at our dealership.

Chopper, Dex III is so common, everybody makes it. Any will do fine and I mean any.

Chevron is all we use at our shop. Castrol also make an excellent Dexron III fluid.

Some of us also did not read the replies. I'm just funnin' ya, relaxin' with a micky of whiskey and surfin' DTR . BTY, the best is dependant on who you talk to and who you want to believe.
