Question Anyone know?

Truck throwing code p0514 " battery temp sensor perf/ rationality" anyone have a clue to what or why ? Thanks

It means the battery temp and some other ambient temp sensor (prolly the one in the airbox), have a greater difference than what is allowed in the calibration. You should experience no adverse affects and is not a concern.
