Anyone ever change front engine mounts on 5.9L cummins?

I noticed some small cracks in my Driver side front engine mount the other day during routine checks. so I ordered a set and they arrived. Well i was going to change the driver side one first since it was cracked and noticed it was going to be a pain in the butt because the starter has to be removed as well. is this so? The passenger side one which is in good shape looks easier to remove. The problem isnt the 3 15mm head bolts going to block its the 18mm bolt that runs perpindicular to the engine. in order to get it out it hits the starter. Also i can get that bolt to turn but it doesnt want to spin out. So due to time restrictions im going to leave this job for now as i think i can get quite a few more miles outta the old ones. (lol maybe wait till the starter goes then do it??)

If I WOULD SEE THAT ON MY MOUNT AND I WOULDN'T HAVE THE TIME TO REPLACE IT, I WOULD USE A STEEL CLAMP OR SOMETHING TO HOLD IT TOGHETER AND NOT HAVE A SUDDEN FAILURE.
