Any one make a 3.55 gear for 03

I would like to put 3.55s in my 03 2wd who if anyone makes them.

I don't think there is room in the differential housing for the larger pinion gear needed for that lower ratio.

According to AAM there will be a 3.42 ratio available in 07 This is for the 11.5 rears as well as the fronts, not sure on the 10.5s if you have that.

Interesting, according to the American Axle website,

the 11.5 inch rear end can support ratios of 3.54:1 all the way to 5.75:1

The 9.25 front axle can support gears from 3.54:1 to 4.10:1

and the 10.5 gear, 3.42 to 5.13:1

If you install 285/70/17s it will change the 3.73 ratio to around a 3.60

I dont really want to run 285s on a 2wd unless they are slicks. I also have the 5spd top speed is only 100 at 3100 rpm does that sound right for 3.73s.
