I thought that I read that Allision and Aisin were tied some how. I am not sure if I like the idea of a noisy Allision in a Dodge, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

If I here one more piece of mis-information on this my head is going to explode. There is only one 6-speed auto trans that Dodge is going to use in the 07's and that will be the 6-speed Aisin which has absolutely nothing to do with Allison whatsoever. There is no such transmission as a 68re or rfe. Only the Aisin will be put in the 07' Rams, chassis cabs or pick-ups it makes no difference.

I am a proud UAW(local 685) member , the local that will produce the unit, thanks. so you are the one passing mis-info are you there or did your head explode?. again the aisin will be in the 3500 chassis cab only , dodge has said so publicly. PM me for my number. Barry Rayls (uaw local 685 member , heat treat contolman KTP plant(original home to all dc autos).

I was just wondering how you are positive of this. Where have you been getting your information that is any better then where we get ours? Just because you are a dealer? There are dealers that have no clue of what the vechiles on the lot have in them, let alone what is coming out in next years model. I am not trying to start a fight or put you down, but do you think that Dodge tells the dealers everything?
