San Diego Mechanic

Well I'm on my way to San Diego an noticed my front pinion seal leaking for the 4th time after hearing the bearing starting to whine. I stopped tonight to check the fluid level and found the magnet covered with metal shavings. I just changed the fluid and cleaned everything before I left virginia so I know it is recent.

I suspect the bearing is on its way out and all my tools are in my household goods shipment and won't be available until I find a place to live. So I would like a recomendation on who to take it to out here. See I'm already missing Tim in VA and haven't even gotten to my destination!!

Thanks for the help,
Larry.

That is your truck's way of telling you "Please don't make me live in California".

Keep your Virginia plates and registration or you'll be subjected to the CA Smog Gestapo.

I know it's coming, But AZ has been smogging diesels for years. I guess the Gestapo is headquartered in Phoenix.

Cool!! Thanks guys I'll check em out. I'll be keeping my Florida tags though and staying in Yuma AZ tonight. Had to go check out the Grand Canyon so that set me back a bit, time wise.

You don't know of any houses for rent by chance do you!! I start that adventure Monday.
