4WD Problem

Hi!

Recently I noticed that my truck front tyres didn't even have power when I'm stuck in mud even I did engage the 4WD. So I decided to test the 4WD by spinning the front drive shaft with my hand. With 2WD mode, I can spin the drive shaft and in 4WD mode, I can't spin the drive shaft which mean (please tell me if I'm wrong) ESOF doing its job. Can you guys help me to identify what is the problem?

Thanks.

Hi! Recently I went to off-road again and stuck in mud for the second time. I actually looked below the truck and I can see the transfer case are actually giving power to the front diff but front diff didn’t spin both of the front tyres. By the way, I can’t jack the front up because shop at here actually charged for that

It would be helpful to know what truck it is you are talking about

Does your truck have free wheel hubs?

Did it spin one of the front tires? Only one might spin, not necessarily both.
