Question 48re trans service am I crazy?

I just serviced the trans in my truck today.First time I have serviced it since I bought it new in 2005 .Went a little too long miles wise (58,000)but its been fine.I swear now that I changed the fluid and filter it shifts and drives better than it did before I serviced it.Am I crazy?I used Autozone ATF+4 (5.99qt) 1.00 a qt less than Valvoline and Castrol and a Autozone trans filter.

I do mine every 30k also, all fluids synthetic atf+4 24 quarts, DD trany pan, filter and adjust both sets of bands, 105k on mine now and looks brand new inside, OIL is cheap so is the filter, just a good thing to do if you tow especially.
