48RE Band Adjusting Screw Pictures

48RE Band Adjusting Screw Pictures

Hi guys, got Front Band and Rear Band Adjustment info from the Forum but not sure where are those adjusting screws. Any pictures ????

I was wondering on that also. I have tried searching, but Tapatalk doesn't have the best search feature, it kind of sucks for searching, but it does rock for convenience. Anyways, I thought I remember seeing it here before.

The rear band in inside the pan. You will see it. Three turns out from tight at 72 inch pounds.
Front band is outside the case above the shifter lever. 2 turns out from 72 inch pounds.

Are you talking about the torex T-40 head screw with 19MM locknut???

NO, NO, NO!!!!!! wrong specs. 1 3/4 turn out form 72 inch lbs set on the torx screw. 2 turns will be too much on a used band and slip it even more. May have to go down to 1 1/2 turns if the band is stretched too much.
