305's fit w/no lift?

Hello. Will 305's pop under my truck (stock suspension, no levelers) w/o any rubbing? I don't do any hardcore wheeling.

Right now, @80, I am at 2523RPM's (doing math for a 31" tire)
With 305's (doing math for a 34" tire), I would be at: 2301RPM's.

A couple hundred drop would be enought to keep me happy.

Thanx.

Let me know if any of my math is wrong.

Thanx.

The way I understand it 315's fit with out issue as long as your on the road mostly and you stay with the stock wheels or atleast the same backspacing. I will be trying to fit the 315's soon so I guess I will know for sure then. I have seen a guy on here that says he's running 325 Toyo's without a lift???
But I have been told by countless people that they rub or dont fit and then the next thread I see that they do????????

If you are using stock rims then you should be OK. I had 315s and they rubbed at full lock but that was it. I then went to 285s with no rub at all. 305s may rub the tiniest bit but probably not....

Concur with above posts. I have some pretty aggressive tread 305's, and I have loads of room. Might try to step up to 315's next time...

are you talking bout the bfgs? if so the 285s are exactly the same heighth as the 305s only narrower oh and they do not have the infamous E but not really nesecarry imo
also I ran 315s on h2s no probfor a whle all depends what you want to accomplish
are you changing rims or runing stockers If runnin stockers I doubt you will gain anything cosmetically to justify using a 305 kinda jumbled but I have done a lot of research on this

not to pimp toyos but the 295s are a little taller and not as wide kind of a nice comprimise in between sizes of 285 305 315s etc remember that the 285 295 315s are all 70 series and the 305s are 65 series shorter sidewall

I have 305/65/17's on stock rims with absolutely no problems. I hang a snowplow on them which pulls the front down and they still dont rub. But for the summer I run 305/70/17's on Moto Metal rims (I dont remember the backspacing) and they will touch just enough so you can hear it if the wheels are turned all the way and I hit a bump. Weather your tires will rub depends on what rim if not stock and what series of "305" you are going with. If you plan on sticking with your stock rims you shouldn't have a problem. I have a pic of both sets of tires in my gallery.
