3.73 or 4.10's ????

Where does it say what gears are in these trucks and what rpm should I be running @ 70 mph on an 07 with a 6spd???

Think the dealer took me for a little RIDE!

Fill out your sig. so we know what truck you are talking about. It is probably in the glove box or a tag on the axle.

Well the fact you have a 6-speed manual gives it away, since they are only offered with one ratio: 3.73:1.

x2 at 70 im just over 2 grand...something like 2150-2250 at 80 im right at 2500. if we had 4.10s you could kiss unloaded interstate driving byebye, as well as decent fuel milage. I measured my stock rubber mounted at 31in tall. I'm looking to jump up to around 33's to drop my rpm a little.

Why only a 3.73 in a 6 speed. Not saying you are wrong but I really dont know why. Is a 4.10 better? Please explain.

Nothing wrong with it, but you can only get a 6-speed with 3.73's from the factory. Once you get it you can put 4.56's in there if you want. But the 6-speed is geared so low you wouldn't want anything lower than 3.73s. Most people are hoping to get 3.55's for their 6-speed.

I wish they would offer an exchange without reprocussions! I would be the first to get 3.55 or 3.05 even need the fuel milage

Get some 22.5" rims and tires like I did. They come out to 37" and drop your gear ratio to 3.09! I now turn 1950 at 75 mph!!!
