22.5 with auto trans

22.5 with auto trans

I was wanting to know if i could run 22.5s with a auto trans it is stock tranny now but looking in to a goerend brothers.I wanted to know in it would be to slow.

Yes, the larger the tire, the more it takes to turn it. Your overall gear ratio will go up, (lower RPM's at highway speed), but you'll pay for it with all that rubber.

The difference between my 35" BGF MT's and a set of stock 265's was .25 of a second on the 1/4...

Plus you will look like an knuckle head with those Frito-Lay delivery van wheel/tires on your truck. I suppose if thats your goal tho...go for it. Don't forget your Obama bumper sticker and Boom Boom subwoofer.
