Anyone know if you can get the computer flashed to support a swap of the older 5 speed auto tranny for the newer 6 speed autos? Was thinking of getting a transmission to handle a little more power and figured the extra gear might help on the road trips. Thanks for any advice.

 

The older auto transmission is a 4 speed. It would probably be cheaper for you to put a Gear Vendors overdrive on instead.

 

The new tranny will not work. You need computer and wiring. Too much hassel at this point. I am sure in the future someone will build a stand alone computer to do this but right now there is nothing.
