2005 tinder charging

Hi everyone.
I have a 2005 3500 that I want to periodically trickle charge over the Winter to keep the batteries charged. I know there is a constant voltage pull on these trucks for electronics. Anyways I want to be very careful not to harm any wiring or electronics. So I thought I would ask. I was going to leave all the batt cables hooked up and simply hook up my 2.5amp maintainer to the P-side battery and see if it would maintain both. If this is not a good idea I will unhook one battery at a time to charge. I thought I read somewhere this is really hard on the other battery while the other is being charged. Also can this cause any PCM damage? Thanks for any/all advice.

Bonus when you do that will the TC keep both batteries up? I forgot to add that I only run this truck from May through Aug. I only use it to tow my camper during Spring/Summer. So its extremely hard on the batteries for sitting for half the year at a time.

Keep that trickle charge going, it will keep them both charged without issue. I would just keep an eye on it and thats all there is to it. My truck is my second vehicle, sits ALOT... I take it out every week or two, I don't like the engine sitting in same position for to long, like closed valve springs etc and keep oil on the parts.
