2005 QC 4X4 dually hard to start Q?
 

My sister has a 05 with a preditor chip an just 2 days ago has been hard to start problems. cranks over for 5 to 15 seconds before starting.
so far I have disconnected the preditor, changed the fuel filter, tried to pull codes but no codes.
Anyone ever have any experience with this type of problem?
She is taking the truck in to have the ecm flashed Firtst thing monday.
She makes her living hauling for sprint an her truck is her lively hood.

Sounds like it may have a leaking injecter.Makes it hard for the CP-3 to build enough pressure to fire the injecters at cranking speeds.Have the dealer check the rail pressure when cranking.

Well the truck has been at the dealer and all I know is that she is having the number 6 injector replaced and getting a lift pump relocated to the fuel tank. Its going to cost around 1300.
