2004.5 Dodge Dually with a hot rear brake

So I am trying to figure this out... After about 30 minutes of driving my drivers side rear brakes start squeaking and/or squealing. If I tap the brakes the noise stops for about 2-3 seconds, then starts squeaking again. Sometimes the brakes get hot enough I can smell them...but "so far" not hot enough for visible smoke.

The pads are at 95% and I replaced the caliper a week ago figuring it was a stuck caliper, but it did not seem to resolve the problem. (Still squeaks and gets hot.)

I am about to order a new brakeline hose (I hear they can collapse), but I am also researching the possibility of it being an e-brake shoe issue, or maybe a bearing issue.

Before I tear into the fun of taking the rotor off, or ordering a brake line, I wanted to see if any of you knew what the issue might be based on the symptoms....so I am not chasing the wrong thing.

thx!

Can you feel or hear what might be dragging or binding? Maybe see how it spins, pull the caliper and see if it changes? If the caliper isn't cocked or binding and the parking brake seems to return fully, I would think pulling the rotor would be a logical next step.
