07 5.9 oil pressure issues
Off and on for a while when you start my truck and let it run a minute the oil pressure dropped to zero and check guages light came out. I shut it off then restarted and everything is fine. Yesterday it kept doing it. Now when you try and start the truck it tries to turn over but just whines like the starter isn't engaged. Any ideas I'm lost and do t really know where to start. I did check the batteries and both are good.

I would try mechanical oil pressure gauge. Have someone crank over engine see if crankshaft is turning, if not you may have a bad starter.
