My 06 auto has acted wierd since i bought it used two years ago. it has always seemed to have a hard time finding second gear, it wanders from neatural to second if i am not on it. this winter it went into "limp in mode" and i lost first and second gear. after researching i replaced the governer pressure sensor and cylinoid (sorry about spelling) and did a full tranny flush. put a new filter and good quality tranny fluid in. problem was fixed for about a week. now it is searching for second again. all the other weird shifting issues it was having before however are no longer happening. i have heard that the bands on the tranny need to be adjusted fairly regularly on this transmission and that the second gear band is adjustible from the outside of the tranny, is this true!? and if so does anybody know how to do it! any advice would be great! dont want to drop five grand on a new tranny!
