Couple quickies. First if its an auto, I bet im getting the 4:11 gears? Havent asked yet but id just assume that.

Is hte 70 mph vibration a problem in these?

What kind of mileage are you seeing with a auto and a standard?

Any known issues with the trucks in general? I havent been hangin around in the 3rd gen area much beings i didnt have one and the idea of a new one poped up the last few days haha

 

Mines no dually but I'm getting around 14 sitting in traffic everyday. I've seen 16 city and 23 on the highway with the stock tires and no EZ box if I drive very nicely.
No vibration for me but I think it was a problem in the 03s too.

 

Theres a good chance the truck will have 4.10s with the auto but have seen alot with 3.73s. Just have a dealer print out the original invoice for the truck. Or look at the option tag in the glove box. Some have the vibration, some dont, mine does. Take it for a ride to find out. Milage wise, Im getting mid 18,s and up empty and around 14 towing around 10000.
As far as other issues, weatherstriping around the doors causes alittle wind noise in some, easy fix with a door adjustment by the dealer. Check all fluids including diffs, Some were low from the factory. Over all there great trucks and will last you a long time.

 

Paint adhesion issues. Mine has build date of March 2003. I got a notice from DC extending warranty on paint to 10 years/10,000 miles.
