transmission problems lead to pcm module failure?

I had my transmission over hauled in Aug in October i took a load and1100 KMS into my trip my engine light went on. I was able to find a dodge dealer the next morning and the code showed a problem with the governor and solenoid it was thanksgiving weekend and it was a saturday so i needed to get home i asked them if i would make it home they said no problem which i did. I go back into the dodge dealer and the replace the governor and solenoid and the truck is working fine. i take another load (both loads were well below the towing capacity) and 1800 kms into my trip my engine light goes on. I stop and test it and the same problem is occuring. It felt like the truck was leaving in a higher gear. So i phone dodge from where i am close to Oklahoma and asked about bringing it in on the monday and having it fixed again. so i have to drive another 1800 kms back home on a engine light. I take it in and they phone me later saying the PCM module failed. I asked if it was possible that the failures that were going on could have caused my PCM to fail or the excess pressure from driving caused it. They didn't agree nor did they deny it. What i am looking to find out is if it is possible? I assume voltage goes in and out of the pcm? If so then the weakness in the other parts could have caused the pcm to fail? I also noticed that everytime i take a load which was 3 times and 3 times i came home with transmission problems could there be something wrong with the tow haul? Thanks

What is the year of your vehicle? PCM was covered under warranty for some year vehicles. Some years also had wiring issues that was covered under a recall.

Unless you had failure codes and diagnostic tests done I would just be guessing. Hope it's fixed this time.

It was diagnosed 2 times and the PCM was not an active failure on either tests
