Question Need Hubs - (Any Decent Economy Hub Brands Out There)?

Any reputable "economy" hub brands out there? Anyone had a good experience with sub $100 hubs on ebay or should I stay away?

It's a LOT of work.
Stick with Timbren or SKF.

Yeah Timbren & SKF seem to be the one's everyone mentions, though I can't help but wonder how well some of the sub $100 hub brands perform(!?)

Oh and (lol) appreciate the warning regarding the install, I actually did the front wheel joints back in '09 and WHAT A HUGE PIA! I tried every trick I could find via google, youtube and the truck forums, to break the hubs loose (to no avail) and after struggling with the hubs for an entire day... I finally stumbled upon a heavy duty hub puller from Grainger that did the trick (...and even then the nearly 2 inch thick steal plate hub puller ended up bending from the stress!). Not sure but it's been said (fingers crossed) once you manage to pull the OEM hubs the 1st time, the hubs come off fairly effortlessly the next time arround(?) Plus, I thought someone told me to anti-seize the hub surfaces when I reinstalled 'em but not sure if I did or not (seemed like risky advice)!?

Yeah seems Timken & SKF are the one's everyone suggests, though can't help but wonder how well some of the sub $100 hub brands perform/hold up over time!?

Actually found 2 hubs on fleabay for under $100 bucks for the pair w/shipping and lifetime warranty from a reputable company...gonna take my chances, see what happens and report back any issues that arise. Did front wheel joints 10yrs ago so pulling hubs 2nd time around shouldn't be that big of a deal and even if I have to do it again in a few yrs, I really don't mind...all things considered. Surprisingly, hubs 2-3x the price (some from major parts stores) only came with 1, 2 or 3yr warranties, so I figured dam* the difference... nothing ventured nothing gained.

I replaced mine with Timken. I used a block of wood between the frame and the hub and used my powersteering to press them off. Worked very well.

Just did mine and I used Timken. Think they were $170 per unit. I feel like the front hubs are exposed to a lot of different forces like turning, braking etc. I chose not to skimp on them.
