I just did the same thing to mine. Dont know if there are any other dealer settings...let me know if you find something else.
FYI; After doing this and doing the lastest software updated/ECM flash, I have received on two occasions the grid heater/wait to start light come on and some chimeing to accompany it. It goes away after 5-10 minutes and I believe it is an error in the software and I dont know what the fix is yet.
Scott
PS. maybe ask the diesel tech on duty if he knows of this (There should be a TSB out on the problem) and if its fixed yet. Id like to know myself.

No one with a 2003-09 Dodge Cummins should let a dealer touch their ECM until the P1222/WTS firmware issue is sorted out.
While the dealer tech does not need to reflash the ECM to enable your 2006 auto trans cruise control high idle,
he will likely flash the ECM with the latest Chrysler firmware which you might really regret.
IMO, no one with a 2003-09 Dodge Cummins should be flashing their ECM with anything but EFI Live or a Smarty with the program February 2011 or earlier.
It's too risky. Chrysler really blew it with this "feature" in the program. The TSB came out in Feb 2011.
For whatever stupid reason the new "feature" will derate the truck & turn on the WTS light on the dash if it thinks the fuel system is having an issue.
All they should have done is just turned on the CEL & set the corresponding P1222/P1223 codes.
While the manual cruise control high idle is nice in the winter, I never use it in the summer.
If you can find someone with a Smarty with Feb 2011 program or earlier, he can flash your truck to enable the high idle.
Or better yet, just hold off for now...
