This is the mid-year, 2004.5 model with the ‘05 high output 5.9 inline 6 cylinder diesel engine and revised 48RE 4-speed automatic transmission. It's a single rear wheel 2500, quad cab 4X4 with 4 full-size doors and short bed (6’ 4”) with Line-x spray in liner. It has 3.73 gears, Class IV hitch and the SLT package with cloth interior & heated towing mirrors.

It’s my daily driver and the current mileage is 214,000 (mostly highway - 70 mi commute for work + family in NC and FL). The truck is very clean and well taken care of (more photos available upon request). It has never been a work truck, pulled, mudded, raced or abused. I'm the 2nd owner, buying from the 1st in Kentucky at 26k miles. At approximately 95k miles I had transmission issues and had the stock transmission and torque converter replaced with a Goerend 48RE transmission & billet 3-disc converter. Unfortunately, like many Dodge Rams, the familiar rust above the rear wheel wells just started to show. The rest of the truck is rust free.
