Two days ago, I finished off the gauging of my 2500 with a Dipricol boost gauge mounted in an autometer steering pod. Since then, my wiper control has become difficult to twist and the functions are occuring in different locations than indicated on the control arrow. Intermittant wiper function is gone, all I have now is low and off. I don't see how the installation of the gauge pod could affect it other than the drilling into the steering housing for the push-in clips to secure the pod. Anyway, that shouldn't make the twist control hang up IMO. Has anyone had troubles of this kind, and is there a fix other than a trip to the dealer where I would be charged triple the fair price for repair? The 2001 is out of warranty. :'(
