What will fit a 11 inch rim?
So I have these really nice 315/75/16 tires on 11 inch wide rims.
I cannot seem to "give" them away for a stock set of 265s...
What size road tire can I put on these wide rims that will be condusive to pulling a 6K pound trailer around the country?
Is there one?
THANKS
Did some researching and questions and found out that these 11 inch rims are just good for these 315 and larger tires!!

Want to get rid of the tires and rims. Too big for trailer hauling.
Looking for a set of 265/75 OR 235/85 OR 215 85 with rims that will fit the 2500.
I realize that the 265 series will not fit an 11 inch wide rim...
Just want so decent 10 ply load range E of F to pull our 30 foot travel trailer cross country.

OK, I know people that might like to have the 315's.
11" wide rim, that's another story. I have 10" wide on my 99 for a while, and removed them because they were too wide.
The 315/75's will fit an 8" wide rim nicely. I had those on 16x8" on my 99 for a while also. Do you think they are too tall for your trailer? If they have the correct load rating you should be OK.
You want chrome or aluminum rims? I have some 265's we could talk about if you like. PM me.

I think they are Load range "C"..
I do not think the tread design is good for towing as it is a M/T design and it is very aggressive tread and wide -- almost 10 inches.
I picked up some 235/85/16 today and spent the morning at a pick-n-pull hauling 4 wheels across the LKQ desert in Clayton/Raleigh.
