What do I need to clear 35s?

Hey guys, just picked up an 02 Cummins over the weekend.
The thing absolutely rips and I love the truck.

I need to get a new set of tires for it and found an awesome deal on a set of 35s ($250 for a set of 35x12.5x17 with 50% tread)

The thing I need to know is will I need a leveling kit to clear the 35s?
It has 33x12.5x17s on it now and it looks like there should be enough room, I just want to make sure so I'll be able to drive it.

They will rub on the inner fenders at full lock and depending on wheel backspacing, will also hit the lower control arm. I ran 35's with stock suspension on my 96. Adding the 2'' leveling pucks worked well, but threw my caster so far out that I fought death wobble untill the day I sold it. There was not enough adjustment to dial it back. If I did it again, I would either leave it stock height and watch the full lock turns or get a proper lift with adjustable control arms. Plus, with the truck leveled, it would sag and look flat out silly with a trailer on, whereas with the nose down empty, it rode and looked 'right' with a trailer on factory suspension. Air bags would have cured that, but I can see where the factory did have some things figured right

35's with stock OEM aluminum wheels work just fine with a 2 inch leveling puck. You will get some rub at full lock but it's easy to live with.

Plus, 35's just look plain cool, they really fill out the wheels wells.

The 02 axle sits a bit farther forward than the other years so you should be fine with a leveling kit.

It won't "rip" as much as your gears will be a tad taller with 35's......
