"Wait to start" light

Is there a specific wire in the harness that goes to the Cluster that I could tap if i Wanted to relocate my wait to start light to an Amber LED in the dash?

Or is there some other place I could tap say under the hood?

Not sure what controls the light, ECU?

Just a thought and I am no expert, but if you want to relocate your wait to start "light" then tap that wire and route to your LED. That makes scense to me, but maybe I am wrong...Someone else should chim in with something a little more accurate if I am off base.

Theres an 18 ga. Orange/Black wire coming out of the ECM, which should be your wait to start signal. It goes through 3 connectors, and goes to 22ga. after the second one. Found this on page 903 (8W-40-2) of the 01 service manual.

Take the bulb out of the holder in the instrument cluster and stuff a wire in it to power your light.
