I've had mixed results over the years. Most of it depends on how well the manufacturer is doing financially since they have to pay the tab. Sometimes, the will only perform the TSB if you are having the specific problem it addresses. For instance, there was a TSB on the six speeds that dealt with the grinding third gear. If the truck didn't grind when they tested it, they wouldn't do the TSB. If it is a safety issue (seat belts, airbags, fire hazard) there is no limit. There is no limit on emissions either. Good luck.

TSB's are different than recall's, when their mech.are in a area with a tsb as part of it they will do it, example if they are in the front timming cover for seal or anyother work they should tab the dowel. Now for the ones dealing with hazards and life as smokedog stated they will most likley do them. Goodluck Rick

Many folks think TSBs are covered after warranty expires or are like a recall, not so.
All a TSB is is a bulletin describing symptoms and fixes for common problems.
The dealer will usually only perform a TSB for free under warranty if the symptoms are exhibited, after warranty it's on your dime.

This has been my experience as well.
Recalls are free. I do not believe there is a time limit on the recalls, as long as the vehicle is registerable.

You have to pay for the TSB if the truck is out of warrenty. You may even have to pay (at least in part) for a TSB while the truck in under warrenty.
As far as the time limit on a TSB, being that YOU are paying for it, I do not believe there is a time frame for these either.
