Well men,

I liked my 02 sooooooo much I just bought a 95 3500 dump, hopefully I get to work the b@l$s of it this winter ;D. I'll have to get a photo on here soon. Banks turbo and gauges, what ever that is. Anyone have any imput on this model for me?

You will find that the 12-valve in the 95 is alot easier to turn up, no lift pump problems to worry about, and half the valves to adjust. Fuel mileage will depend on the gearing, loads, and how you drive it but it should be slightly better than your '02. <br><br>Things to look for immediately are whether the fuel lines are leaking (may or may not have been replaced already), throttle cable recall work (check to see if the ball end at the pump lever has any rust/corrosion and for smooth operation without any catching) and maybe the fan recall (relay under dash to keep from smoking steering column wiring from pulling too many amps). If the idle is down below 750 it may be a stretched cable but it also may have had the recall done and the *********** didn't set the idle (happened to me). <br><br>If it already has a Banks setup and gauges on it then it has been turned up some. See if you can find out exactly what has been done to it so you don't duplicate anything unnecessarily. Also consider an exhaust brake for slowing down the big loads.<br><br>Anybody else care to elucidate?
