Towing mirrors?

I need a set of towing mirrors, but I don't want to lose my power and defrost.
will the 2003-2007 towing mirrors bolt up on my 1999?
I see the extendable ones on ebay. but the local dealer told me not to buy them, because they rattle and vibrate.
Advise?

I bought mine off of www.supertruckusa.com they are $149, they don't move at all while I am driving. Quick friendly service as well. Just go to the website and type in towing mirrors and go to page 2 and they are about 1/2 way down. I think this will work if you copy and past this website in for you http://www.supertruckusa.com/products/73027_503_07.htm. Good luck.

Do theses work with the defroster and electric? It just sounds too good to be true if they do. How hard were they to install?

You can have power/heated mopar towing mirrors , but you need to buy a set for a second gen , and a set for a third gen , and swap the bases.

OR save yourself $200 and all the hassle of screwing with the bases and just buy the **** power/heated ones for $150.

They are not hard to install at all. It took me about 1 hour to to both by myself. If you had someone helping you it won't take you more than 1/2 hour. I love these mirrors they are wonderful.

I don't know about the defroster because mine does not have that, but the power works great.

What about road vibration and viewing? DO these mirrors rattle as you dirve with them extended? Like it was said above, it is alomost too good to be true to see electic and defrost tow mirrors for this price.

Do you have any close up pics with them on the truck. What I'm worried about is the bases not looking just right or maybe not covering up where the old one was. I'm about to order them but I don't won't any surprises. Thanks.

I ordered a set. They should be here this week. I'll take lots of pics of the install, and post them up.

I don't want to thread-jack... but will these work on a '97?

I have factory heated, power mirrors. The **** ones don't list 94-97, but I thought the mount was the same. If it is a matter of splicing wires, that isn't a problem.

Heated mirrors are definitely required. Power is almost optional, but I think I would stick with stock if I can't get power adjustable ones.

$150 is a good price for a pair.

I put mine on the other day, and they fit like a glove. They cover like the stock ones do. I will try to upload some pics soon, I have them, just need info how to post them. Some one please im me and let me know the process. Please and Thanks. As far as the 97's go mine is a a 97 but I don't have the heat. You can ask the Place before you order to see if the bases will fit, I am pretty sure they will. Hope this helps.
