Starter??
I drove my 2001 Dodge 2500 Diesel this morning, came home, two hours later I was going out again but truck won't start, clicking noise, all lights on, power windows work, full power on everything,
But I get a clicking noise, terminals look ok on battery

Sounds like starter contacts to me- fostertrucks.com has them.
Do not change the starter to something with a lifetime guarantee from a auto parts chain, rebuild the stock starter.- you will save yourself a lot of trips to replace the lifetime warranted stuff.
You will need 12 point metric sockets to remove the starter, it's just 1 bolt and 1 nut, please disconnect your batteries (BOTH!!! ) first, else you may set your truck on fire. (This would solve the starter problem... )

Get yourself a set of starter contacts now!!!
Read this to see how it's done.
The problem is that with a worn contact the plunger can weld itself to the contact and keep the starter running- and setting it on fire in the long run- and you have no way to stop the starter except to remove the battery cables.

Its not fixed as Alpine stated. You'll need a 10mm wrench and socket to remove the 3 bolts holding it to the housing, there is a good youtube video on rebuilding the starter,,,it's really easy....

Do not buy some lifetime warranty starter from the big chains- unless you want to get good at changing starters by doing it often.
The stock starter is built extremely well and can be rebuilt very easily.

Had the same start nostart problem about 5 months after rebuilding starter. Took starter out and found wire from solenoid to starter had come loose. Found this after checking batteries and alternator. Drove me crazy until I found the problem and yes I found the loose wire by mistake.
